Friends...

How many friends do you have? Do you ever feel like your friends have forgotten you? Sometimes it may seem that way when everyone is busy doing something, making plans, going places...and no one calls to invite you. Sometimes it may seem that you have no friends. Ah...but we have a friend who sticks closer than a brother. From the words of a song I love:
We have a friend closer than a brother, we have a Brother praying to the Father, we have the Father's Love, lifting us when we fall!

I am so glad to know Jesus. When the times comes for the end of this life, we all must go alone...alone, that is, unless we have Jesus. You're never alone when you have Jesus. He will lift you up when you fall, carry you when you can't walk, and be right beside you when you walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Just call on Him, make Him Lord and Savior of your life, and rest in Him. He promises that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. It's true. He knows our frame, how we are made, and He loves us! Aren't you glad? :)
