Playing Piano...

Tonight I enjoyed playing my piano and singing. My hubby was at work and our son was out with Bri (his girl!), so I spent some time praising Jesus. :)

Today...

Tracey called and asked if I'll play piano for her church tomorrow. Their pianist is on vacation. Of course I am. For whom much is given, much is required. I will enjoy doing this. It takes me back to our youth, when Tracey and I would sit at the piano for  hours...me playing and both of us singing. We'd sing a hymn Tracey liked, then one I liked...going back and forth like that until it was time to go skating.

Rodney got out a hymnal yesterday and was going to sing on the porch. So, today I got the old church hymnal from the closet and the one he'd been looking at, went out on the porch, and we sang. :) He didn't want to sing some of the songs and kept telling me I don't have to sing tomorrow, just play. Ha! He doesn't realize how excited Tracey is about this. I'll be singing, rest assured!

I enjoyed singing on the porch with Rodney. I hope we do it more. I've gotta get a video of him singing!
